This class will help you start writing and stick to your
writing (and revising!) — here's how it works.
You sign up for a four-week session, any four consecutive weeks you want beginning
July 1st and ending November 18th. Once you've completed the four weeks, you're
eligible to drop in and out as much as you like. You can do this spontaneously
or buy a package deal for a certain number of weeks.
The Details:
Each week begins on a Wednesday. I'll give a prompt on Wednesday morning.
Your poem is due Sunday night, at midnight in your time zone. I will have
your critique back to you by the following Wednesday (three days later).
You'll e-mail your poems to everyone who's participating that week, to help
inspire each other and build a sense of community, but giving and accepting
critiques is optional. You and your fellow participants will determine this
on your own. (I have a handy guide to critiquing, in case you'd like some
tips that are internet-specific.)
There's a two-page, 250-word limit on your poems, so I don't get swamped by
10-pagers without warning. (If you do want to work on something long, we can
arrange that.)

Yes, the prompts are optional. Yes, you can submit revisions of the same poem
over and over. Yes, I will send out random notes about writing to the whole
group when issues come up in my critiquing.
PRICING:
After the initial four weeks, the most flexible format lets you decide on
the spur of the moment whether you want to join us any given week. In that
case, the price for the first four weeks is $125 and each additional week
is $32.
